Gigaat operates as an online marketplace where clients and freelancers can engage in projects and transactions. Our platform integrates WooCommerce for secure and reliable payment processing.

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Gigaat platform, including its website, iOS, and Android apps. By accessing or using Gigaat, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, you must cease using the platform immediately.

2. Account Registration

2.2 Account Responsibility

• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

3. Services Provided

Gigaat provides the following services:

• For Clients: The ability to post job listings and hire freelancers.
• For Freelancers: The opportunity to offer services (gigs) to clients.
• Integrated Payments: Secure payment processing through WooCommerce.

Gigaat acts as a mediator and does not guarantee the outcome or quality of work provided by freelancers or clients.

4. Fee Structure

4.1 Commission Fees

• Gigaat charges a 10% commission on each transaction for both clients and freelancers.
• This fee covers platform maintenance, secure payment processing, and customer support.

4.2 Payment Processing

• All payments are processed securely through WooCommerce using trusted payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
• Freelancers receive payments after client approval of delivered work, minus the applicable commission.

4.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis per our Refund Policy.

5. Secure Payment System

• Payments are encrypted and processed through WooCommerce, which adheres to PCI DSS standards (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards).
• Sensitive financial information is not stored on our servers but securely handled by third-party payment processors.
• Fraud detection measures are implemented to protect users.

6. User Responsibilities

• Payments must be made upfront through Gigaat’s payment system.

6.3 Freelancer Obligations

• Freelancers must deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
• Any disputes should be resolved amicably through Gigaat’s dispute resolution system.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Clients and freelancers retain rights to their respective content and project deliverables.

By using the platform, users grant Gigaat a non-exclusive license to use uploaded content for platform-related purposes (e.g., marketing).

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Mediation

Gigaat offers a dispute resolution system for resolving conflicts between clients and freelancers.

8.2 Final Decision

Gigaat reserves the right to make final decisions on disputes.

9. Termination of Use

• Gigaat may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or misuse of the platform.
• Users may close their accounts by contacting support@gigaat.com.

10. Limitation of Liability

Gigaat provides the platform “as is” and disclaims all warranties.

We are not responsible for disputes, delays, or unsatisfactory work arising between clients and freelancers.
